"Exile is one of the cosiest little family festivals. It’s so laid-back and EASY – unlike any other festivals we’ve been to. It’s small, intimate and really well organised! For children, it is BRILLIANT – the kids seek each other out and form their own little tribe that only needs a loose eye from the grown-ups. It allows them the freedom they often don’t get otherwise,  which makes it more relaxing for parents. The music is brilliant – eclectic and inspiring. You can have both a chilled-out lie down, listen, or a good old boogie. Oh, and the beer and food are both excellent and reasonably priced! All you need is a tent and an open heart. It really is a great festival and we can’t wait to go again."

Exile Music Festival is a small, non-profit, family-friendly festival hosted at a private residence in the Derbyshire countryside, just north of Matlock.
